Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Fighter’ defeated many Hollywood films in the first weekend. The film was the biggest grosser of last weekend at the worldwide box office.
According to Comscore data, ‘Fighter‘ did a business of $ 250 million in the international market on Sunday last week. That means, Fighter has earned more than Rs 208 crore at the worldwide box office. This film has crossed the earning figure in just four days.
‘Fighter’ has left Hollywood films behind
Last weekend, ‘Fighter’ overtook many popular Hollywood films and grabbed the number one spot. ‘Fighter’ was the top earner of the weekend, beating international audience favorite romantic-comedy ‘Anyone But You’ ($19 million) and action star Jason Statham’s ‘The Beekeeper’ ($18 million).
The film ‘Fighter’ based on Balakot Airstrike is being liked very much by the audience. The aerial action of the film and its emotional story is attracting the audience. Along with Hrithik and Deepika, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Karan Singh Grover.
After making huge money at the box office in the weekend, this film will now have its real test. It will be interesting to see how ‘Fighter’ earns in the working days starting from Monday.
